The most naturally raised eggs
Free to roam outside in our pastures, our hens enjoy the fresh air, exercise, and sunshine. And there is no better egg then those from a hen living in her natural environment.
After a day of roaming free in the paddocks our hens return to their mobile hen houses to roost safely. These mobile hen houses have a mesh floor that allows the hens dropping to fall through and they are moved around the farm regularly.
Our girls live happily together with our Mareema, Mack, protector of our flock. Our Mareema Sheepdog is an important part of our operation protecting our hens from any predators. Stocked at 100 hens to the hectare with no antibiotics and no hormones, our girls are happy hens producing delicious, nutritious pastured eggs.

Our daily routine
To ensure the freshest produce we can for our customers our eggs are collected daily, then washed and graded into their sizes. Once graded they are packed on farm into trays for our catering clients or into our retail cartons ready for delivery. All of our egg cartons are CLEAR plastic produced from 100% recycled plastic and are 100% recyclable.

“free to roam in the sunshine"
Grass, grubs & worms
Our hens have the opportunity to eat as much fresh pasture as they choose. This unlimited access to grass ensures they can obtain all the nutrients provided in our herb-rich grasslands and pecking for grubs and worms keeps the pastures healthy.
However grass alone can’t provide our chickens with the protein or calcium needed in a balanced diet for poultry, so we give them additional grain which provides them with a nutritionally complete and balanced diet. The grain tops them up with all the extras that they might otherwise not get.

Mack, protector of our flock
Our hens live happily together with our Maremma, Mack, the protector of our flock. Maremma Sheepdogs are a breed from Italy who guard poultry and fend off any attackers. They are an important part of our operation protecting our hens from any predators and keeping the hens happy.
